Boost X Union Pay International Cashback Campaign
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOST X UNION PAY INTERNATIONAL CASHBACK (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS”)
This Campaign is held by Axiata Digital eCode Sdn. Bhd. (Company Reg. No. 201701000820 (1214970-T)) (“eCode”) in collaboration with UnionPay International Co., Ltd. (Company Reg. No. 201402000047 (995537-A)) (“UnionPay”). By participating in the Campaign, Eligible Customer (as hereinafter defined) hereby agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions which shall form an integral part of and to be read together with Boost Terms and Conditions, Boost Campaign General Terms and Conditions and Boost Partner Wallet Terms and Conditions.
In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between these terms and conditions, such inconsistency shall be resolved by giving precedence in the following decreasing order (i) these terms and conditions; (ii) Boost Partner Wallet Terms and Conditions; (iii) Boost Campaign General Terms and Conditions; and (iv) Boost Terms and Conditions.
Campaign Period:
This Campaign commences from 29 December 2025 until 30 June 2026 (“Campaign Period”).
Eligibility:
This Campaign is applicable to all Boost mobile application (“Boost App”) users who have activated UnionPay Malaysia and UnionPay International (“UnionPay Payment Services”) in the Boost App.
(hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Customers”, each an “Eligible Customer”).
Campaign Mechanics:
1. During the Campaign Period, Eligible Customers who make in-store physical purchases overseas via UnionPay Quick Response (“UnionPay QR”) in the Boost App at any merchant accepting UnionPay QR Codes (“Eligible Transaction”) are eligible to receive cashback reward (“Cashback”) upon the successful completion of such Eligible Transaction.
2. For the avoidance of doubt, Eligible Transaction shall exclude the following transactions:
a) Online purchases
b) Gambling and lottery
c) Cash withdrawal transactions
d) Quasi cash merchant transactions (e.g. cryptocurrency)
3. There are 2 Cashback Tiers in this Campaign as set out below:

Cashback Reimbursement:
1. Each Eligible Customers may receive Cashback up to RM40 during the Campaign Period.
2. For Tier 1, the Tier 1 Cashback amount is RM20 and will be credited into the UnionPay Cashback Partner Wallet in the Eligible Customer’s Boost App account within 30 working days following the final transaction date.
3. When utilizing the Tier 1 Cashback via the UnionPay Cashback Partner Wallet, 10% of each Eligible Transaction amount will be deducted from the Tier 1 Cashback balance, with the remaining transaction amount payable using the Eligible Customer’s Boost e-Wallet balance, subject to a minimum transaction value of RM1. For the avoidance of doubt, the UnionPay Cashback Partner Wallet may be utilised across multiple Eligible Transactions until the Tier 1 Cashback balance fully exhausted.
4. For Tier 2, the Tier 2 Cashback amount is RM20 and will be credited in the form of UnionPay RM20 Cashback Partner Wallet to the Eligible Customer’s Boost App account within 30 working days following the final transaction date.
5. When utilizing the Tier 2 Cashback via UnionPay RM20 Cashback Partner Wallet, a one-time RM20 cashback will be applied as an instant deduction from the total Eligible Transaction amount when payment is made, subject to a minimum transaction value of RM1.
6. The example scenario of how the Cashback may be earned is outlined in the table below:

7. Both UnionPay Cashback Partner Wallet and RM20 Cashback Partner Wallet can be utilized at any accepted UnionPay merchants in Malaysia and globally.
8. The Cashback is valid for thirty (30) days upon disbursement. Any unutilized Cashback shall expire and be forfeited automatically without notice, and the Eligible Customers shall have no claim whatsoever against eCode or UnionPay or the abovementioned merchant accepting payments via UnionPay QR.
Additional Terms:
i. The Reward is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternatives.
ii. eCode reserve the right to amend, suspend or terminate this Campaign or any part thereof at any time without prior notice. In such an event, eCode and UnionPay shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the Eligible Customer.
iii. eCode reserves the right to disqualify any Eligible Customer from this Campaign and/or forfeit any Reward if there is reasonable suspicion of fraud, abuse, or any non-compliance with these Terms & Conditions.
iv. eCode shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the crediting or utilization of the Reward due to technical errors, system downtime, network failures, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
v. The Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the event of any dispute arising from or in connection with this Campaign.
